Description

We are looking for a committed and hands-on Shop Technician to assist with production and assigned departmental duties as required on a time or job specific basis. Axiom Equipment Group is a dynamic, well-structured company committed to excellence, and you will play a key role in ensuring top-quality service and maintenance work on equipment while preserving our strong reputation.

Key Responsibilities include:
Performing maintenance and repair service on customer equipment according to maintenance schedules and other requirements
Tests, inspects, repairs, adjusts, and maintains equipment to ensure proper function and quality standards
Supports equipment demonstrations for customers as required by sales.
Consulting manufacturers manuals, circuit diagrams and blueprints to determine test, calibration and maintenance procedures for equipment.
Assisting with the upkeep and cleanliness of Axioms yard and facilities
Responding by telephone, in person or e-mail to customer technical inquiries, issues and concerns in an effective, timely and professional manner.
Fitting, aligning and attach mechanical components.
Conducting inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment.
Recording all service activity, parts and consumables used.
Assisting purchasing with setting seasonal equipment parts and consumables inventory within the Kanban levels approved by the Operations Manager.
Reading drawings and manuals to establish task procedures.
Testing equipment for efficiency and make adjustments when necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
Mechanically minded with 3-5 years experience in mechanics and engine repair
Experience and certification in operating forklifts and wheel loaded
Practical skills in troubleshooting and repairing generators/light towers
Experience providing customer service and support

Hours of work: 7:00  5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-time, permanent, on-site
