Description

Hours of Work: 37.5 weekly, flexible

As a member of the YWCA Regina Leadership Team, the Director of Grants is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and securing funding opportunities that align with the strategic priorities of the organization. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Director collaborates closely with the Chief Executive Officer and senior leaders to build organizational capacity through funding proposals, strategic initiatives, and funder stewardship.

Qualifications:
    Demonstrated success writing and securing grants from corporate, foundation, and government funders.
    Strong understanding of the nonprofit and community-based sector, including program operations and impact evaluation.
    Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
    Excellent persuasive writing, editing, and research skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and storytelling.
    Deep commitment to working from a feminist, trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and decolonizing lens.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and comfortable learning new grant tracking systems or CRM platforms.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple, strict deadlines.
Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
Experience working in culturally safe, equity-driven, and community-embedded settings is a strong asset.
