Village Maintenance/Public Works Employee
The Village of Lipton is currently seeking an energetic ambitious person. The successful applicant will have a great work ethic and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

JOB DESCRIPTION
    Operate equipment including, but not limited to, trucks, tractors, and loaders
    Responsible for operation and maintenance of the water and wastewater system
    General maintenance including mowing, tree pruning, snow removal, street signs
    Maintenance of village equipment and a hot water boiler system
    Able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
    Bending, kneeling, stretching, and reaching
    Working with required chemicals and fuels
    Subject to call out duties as required
    Work requires being outdoors every day regardless of weather conditions
    Work without direct supervision but within approved policies, procedures, and specifications
    Other miscellaneous duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
    Valid Drivers License
    Powered Mobile Equipment Operator Training
    High School Diploma or equivalent
The following qualifications are an asset. The Village of Lipton is potentially willing to support the successful applicant with training, if necessary.
    Class I Wastewater Treatment and Wastewater Collection Certificate
    Class II Water Treatment and Distribution Certificate
Wage is commensurate with experience and benefits are available.
