Chief Payepot School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Grade 9 Teacher to join our middle and high school team. This full-time position begins in the 20252026 school year and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of First Nations youth in a culturally supportive, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

Teach Grade 9 core and elective subjects in alignment with Saskatchewan Curriculum guidelines
Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Apply effective classroom and behavior management strategies
Assess student learning and provide meaningful feedback
Support students academic, social, and emotional development
Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff
Communicate regularly and effectively with students, families, and the school community
Integrate Cree culture, language, and knowledge into teaching where appropriate.
