Description

Southeast College is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director, Student Services and Learner Experience to lead and shape the delivery of inclusive, innovative, and responsive student support services across the College located at the Weyburn, Estevan or Whitewood Campus. Reporting to the Vice President, Academic and Teaching & Learning, the position plays a critical part in advancing student success, engagement, and well-being.

As Director, you will provide strategic oversight and operational leadership for a broad range of student-focused services and initiatives, including academic advising, accessibility, mental health and wellness, and Indigenous student engagement. Working collaboratively with internal leaders, external community partners, and Indigenous stakeholders, you will ensure student services align with institutional goals and reflect best practices in accessibility, inclusion, and learner experience.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education, Social Work, or a related field (masters degree preferred)
5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in student services or post-secondary administration
Experience working with Indigenous communities and reconciliation initiatives
Strong background in strategic planning, financial oversight, and policy development
Familiarity with Saskatchewans post-secondary system is considered an asset

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership, team building, and change management capabilities
Comprehensive understanding of mental health supports, accessibility services, and crisis response protocols
Ability to create inclusive and culturally responsive learning environments
Skilled in data-informed decision-making, performance measurement, and program evaluation
Knowledge of budget management, grant/proposal writing, and contract negotiation
Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
