Cress Housing is an affordable housing corporation that owns 400 units, a mix of single and multi-family units, and additional units under management to support local housing initiatives. Both subsidized and non-subsidized housing aim to provide low to moderate-income Indigenous families with affordable accommodations. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and well-maintained operation of affordable housing properties. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks which includes preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate materials and applying painted finishes ensuring a high standard of aesthetics and protection, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance activities ensuring the comfort, safety and satisfaction of residents. All done to be in a timely manner to meet project deadlines. This role is primarily working on-site within Saskatoon with periodic shop attendance as required. Candidates must have a suitable vehicle for daily work use, a re-imbursement is payable each month, captured via an app on a work issued cell phone. The Maintenance Technician is an integral part of the property management team and contributes to maintaining a high standard of living for residents.
