Description

The Procurement Management Division (PMD) of the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement is looking for a highly motivated Configuration Lead to join the Business System Support and Configuration team.

Reporting to the Director of Business System Support and Configuration, you will be responsible for:

- The operation and sustainment of Supply Chain Management (SCM) components of the new Government of Saskatchewans Oracle system, GEM, in functions such as configuration of the SCM modules, evaluating and managing patches and updates, security role assignments, etc.  
- Leading and supervising a diverse group of configuration analysts and also working closely with ministry and agency teams in the successful integration between third-party boundary systems and SCM stakeholders through standard interface functionality.
- Analyzing and evaluating requirements (client needs, new enhancements, integrations), recommending solutions, designing system changes, and modifying reporting business areas.
- Working closely with the Information Technology Division (ITD) developers in system development and testing changes to ensure continued accurate SCM and some financial processes.  
- Using your strong written and verbal communication skills to develop project and strategic plans, technical requirements, and procedure guides to communicate with both technical and non-technical clients and meet government-wide deadlines.

In addition, you must have excellent facilitation and presentation skills to conduct training and information-gathering sessions for large groups of people.
