Third Party Billing/Inventory/casual Administrative Assistant position. Part-time, 20-30 hours per week. Monday-Friday around hours of 9-5. Start on or around August 11.
Duties include: -Maintain patient confidentiality following all pertaining federal and provincial laws pertaining to such while conducting all duties. -Communicate in a professional manner in all forms of communication at all times, as reflective of a medical office environment. -Ability to learn and effectively use scheduling, billing, and related software in both our and third party system is a requirement. -Third party billing: verifying individuals' third party eligibility; entering third party invoices and sales contracts in our system; processing and submitting third party payments; processing third party payments and reconciling unpaid third party payments; tracking, reporting, and reconciling Aged Accounts Receivable information; all related duties to third party billing. -Inventory: entry, tracking reporting, reconciling concerning all inventory as required. -Faxing, scanning, copying, typing, and all related duties as required of the position including filing and tracking patient files, effective and appropriate documentation and communication with teammates concerning patient files. -Other similar related duties as appropriate in a medical office environment including light housekeeping duties.
When required, providing relief Administrative Assistant duties: -Point of sale, invoicing, end of day/week/month accounting duties including cash out, batch close and other related accounting duties. -Answering the phone, greeting patients, scheduling, confirming, cancelling, and communicating with appropriate parties concerning appointments. -Filing duties: develop, maintain, get paperwork ready for, document in, file, find and all other related filing duties concerning patient files. Other related duties. Grade 12 a requirement, education or related experience preferred. Training provided.
