Commissionaires South Saskatchewan is looking for dedicated individuals to work 32 hours per week as security guards at Regina City Hall parkade. This location is serviced 16 hours a day, seven days a week, and will require individuals who are able to work evenings, days, weekends, and holidays. Expectations of the job will include dealing with the public while providing security services to City Halls parkade.
Requirements:
Must successfully complete a Criminal Record Check and reference background check.
Must be able to work in Saskatchewan.
Experience in the security industry seen as an asset.
Multiple language profiles seen as an asset.
Attention to detail and professional approach in all areas of work and appearance.
Able to effectively communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
Able to provide excellent customer service.
Possess a strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
Computer experience, including effective working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and e-mail.
Ability to work independently and efficiently with accuracy.
Must be available to work statutory holidays and weekends.
3-5 years experience dealing with the public preferred.
Emergency First Aid/CPR and Dealing with Difficult People training are mandatory. **Note: for individuals who have not yet completed these courses, training will be provided. In return, individuals must commit to a minimum of six (6) months of employment with the Commissionaires. Those who do not fulfill this commitment will be required to reimburse the organization for the cost of the training.**
Must have successfully completed the Ministry of Corrections and Policing forty (40) hour Private Investigators and Security Guard course and are licensable in the Province of Saskatchewan as a Security Guard.**
