Good Shepherd Villas, a division of Golden Health Care, is now accepting resumes for the position of Home Administrator. Good Shepherd Villas is an 80-bed license personal care home located in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
As the Home Administrator you will be responsible for all aspects of managing and maintaining an atmosphere conducive to the optimal health and wellbeing of all residents and the care team.
Requirement:
-Current registration in Saskatchewan as a LPN, RPN or RN
-Current CPR and First Aid
-Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care
-Experience with Dementia/Alzheimer's care is an asset
-Possession of skill in planning, coordination and supervising a care team is required
-Must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
-Must have some computer skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Planning, directing, coordinating and supervising all staff
-Meet with residents and their families to help resolve concerns/problems/complaints and reviewing suggestion on an as needed basis
-Maintaining contact with residents to ensure a high quality of care
-Completing all administrative task (i.e. payroll and payables) and sending to head office for processing
-The hiring, orientation, work schedules, continuing education, supervision and regular performance evaluation of the team
-Reports directly to the CEO
