Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    To provide major and minor estimates and to sell merchandise actively and aggressively from estimates and quotes.
    Must be strong mathematically.
    Able to read blueprints
    To provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the customer
    To order merchandise for assigned areas as directed by the Lumber Manager as per Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.
    Receive lumber and merchandise as directed by the Lumber Manager.
    Merchandise various lumber products in the store and warehouse
    To be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures including working in a diverse environment.
    To assist the yard clerks with customer service
    To perform other duties from time to time as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
    Willing to complete or have completed Levels 1, 2 and 3 Estimating Courses at Saskatchewan Polytechnic
    Experience and knowledge of building material products and willing to take additional training
    Valid Sask. Drivers License.
    Ability to work with co-workers and public.
    Must be able to work a variety of shifts.
    Physical requirements include lifting/carrying 80 lbs.+ loads.
    Must be able to work with computers.
    Must be able to work unsupervised.
