Job Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for promoting the Mission, Vision and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority through provision of safe quality nursing care to clients. The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Manager of a designated area. The position filled by this posting will be assigned to the 4 new temporary surveillance beds opening at the Pasqua Hospital ICU. The Critical Care Nursing Program is not required for these temporary positions. See posting info below for more details.

Experience
- Experience with ventilators and NIPPV is an asset
Education
- Adult ECG interpretation from an accredited course is required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS)
- Other specialty certificates related to the clinical program area as required
Knowledge and Abilities
- Demonstrates leadership abilities
- Demonstrated initiative, self-direction, organizational & leadership abilities
- Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
- Ability to facilitate teamwork is essential
- Knowledge in adult education
