Description

This role understanding the trends and practices to continually improve fundraising performance, providing inspirational leadership and collaborative implementation of the business model for fundraising programs at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The Director, Development will manage a portfolio of major and principal gift prospects, and contributes to the institutions strategic directions by leading and motivating staff.

As a member of the Advancement leadership team, the Director, Development works collaboratively within Advancement to ensure:
Development of a comprehensive Advancement strategic plan to meet the overall fundraising goals and objectives of Saskatchewan Polytechnic and ensure best-practices are adopted in all strategic, operational, and policy matters.
All fundraising functions are implemented and complementary to alumni engagement efforts.
Provides an itegral and influential role in institution-wide fundraising initiatives, working with senior leadership to identify fundraising opportunities that support broad institutional priorities that align to the Saskatchewan Polytechnic vision and mission.
Collaboration with senior leadership ito coordinate and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies enhancing relationships, leading to increased fundraising revenue generation.
