Duties and Responsibilities
* Perform site-specific safety orientations
* Conduct regular worksite inspections and audits
* Maintain health and safety boards
* Track and verify worker training, certifications, and competency records
* Collect, organize, and maintain HSE-related documentation
* Support the Occupational Health Committee and assist in fulfilling meeting and inspection requirements
* Follow up on corrective actions from inspections, incident investigations, and committee meetings
* Respond safety concerns or complaints and escalate as needed
* Assist in incident investigations and documentation
* Support the administration of the Return-to-Work/Modified Duties Program
* Record and distribute meeting minutes
* Participate in or lead field-level hazard assessments and job hazard analyses
* Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of safe work practices and procedures
Required Qualifications
* Actively working towards or completion of a health and safety designation
* Knowledge of Sask. OH&S legislation and construction safety regulations
* Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Class 5 license and clean abstract
* Physically able to navigate construction sites in all weather
