Description

W.F. Botkin is currently looking for a Service Administrator for our Truck and Trailer Shop.

Duties:
-Review and check vehicle maintenance records for upcoming or overdue work
-Open and close work orders in the system and ensure accurate recording of labour, parts, and materials used
-Assign parts to open work orders and maintain proper documentation and tracking of parts used
-Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate before closing work orders to support billing and record-keeping processes
-Communicate regularly with mechanics, fleet manager, and other personnel to ensure documentation is completed before closing out work orders
-Collaborate with mechanics, fleet manager, and other personnel to clarify work performed, prioritize urgent repairs, and coordinate workflow

Qualifications:
-Previous administrative or service experience, preferably in a truck/trailer or heavy equipment environment
-Strong mechanical knowledge of trucks, trailers, and related systems
-Excellent record-keeping skills and attention to detail
-Strong verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to understand and explain technical and maintenance information
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and service tracking systems or similar software
-Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, team-based environment
