Follow MFN Governance Manual; MFN Policy and Procedures Manual, Lands Management Act, Framework Agreement, Following Accounting principles, and practices.
The governing style of Council is a clear separation between the roles of the Council and Administration/Staff, acting as proactive rather than reactive leadership.
The CEO will be evaluated on their performance by Chief and Council.
The CEO will over-see various departments and reporting to Chief and Council.
Attending MFN Chief & Council meetings.
Follow up on all Motions of Council where applicable.
Maintain liaison with outside departments i.e., INAC, Financial Institution
Overseeing all MFN Programs and assisting Department Managers when required
Review financial and non-financial reports to devise solutions or improvements.
Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure growth.
Maintaining and regular reviewing if budgets; financial reporting; deadlines; and monitoring all payments and cash flows.
Attending all other internal and external meetings when necessary.
Supervising staff and all duties related to staff supervision.
Monthly meeting with Department Managers
Overseeing all MFN Programs.
Managing all aspects of the Band Office Administration
Travel will be required Must have a valid Saskatchewan Driver?s License and a vehicle
