Description

We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. As a cashier, you are the face of our store and responsible for providing excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with liquor sales regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and provide a positive shopping experience
Operate the cash register: scan items, process payments, issue receipts
Verify ID and ensure customers meet legal age requirements for alcohol purchase
Maintain a clean, organized checkout and store area
Restock shelves and coolers as needed
Report suspicious behavior or safety concerns to management
Follow all company policies and provincial liquor laws
Assist with store closing/opening procedures when required

Qualifications:
Must be 19 years of age or older (legal age to sell alcohol in Saskatchewan)
Must have a valid Serve It Right Saskatchewan (SIRS) certification
Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable handling cash, debit/credit transactions, and basic POS systems
Good communication and conflict resolution skills
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods
A clean and current drivers abstract is an asset and drivers license is mandatory.
