MGBHLM Economic Development is looking for a Housekeeper to provide custodial services to the Wellness Centre Rooms. Duties include conduct housekeep duties daily to ensure that the Wellness Centre rooms are kept clean. Provides custodial, services. Ensures a safe and hygienic environment through regular daily, weekly of the rooms and its contents. If you are passionate about creating a welcoming environment and supporting economic development initiatives. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and functional environment at our facilities, ensuring all spaces are prepared and guest needs are met promptly.
Responsibilities:
Attend to guests on-site, providing friendly and efficient service
Prepare and maintain rooms to ensure they are clean, organized, and ready for use
Keep the kitchen and dining areas tidy, well-stocked, and inviting for guests.
Collaborate with janitorial staff to ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Assist with general hospitality duties as needed, contributing to a positive guest experience
Perform other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the facilities
Sweep and wash all floors in the rooms as required.
Remove garbage to all rooms for disposal.
Clean and disinfect all rooms bathrooms (toilets, sinks, floor and walls)
Ensure the continued supply of bathroom accessories (soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, and deodorizer
Dust ledges and other cabinetry and equipment.
Wash walls and windows.
Check doors and windows to ensure the buildings are locked and that all equipment is turned off after use.
Report any maintenance problems or required supplies to the custodial staff/General Manager
Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively with staff and guests
Prior experience in hospitality, facilities management, or custo
