Description

Extol Developments Inc. is a construction management firm based in Regina, SK executing commercial and multi-family residential projects. Through clear, concise, and transparent communication, we strive to exceed client expectations and deliver projects as committed.

We are looking for a self-starter with an energetic results-oriented work style, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail. As a carpenter you will assist with worksite labour and the delivery of timely, high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
-Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand job requirements.
-Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall to ensure they are level and compatible.
-Carve and assemble cabinets, shelves, and other items as required, and install them as designated.
-Take precise measurements to calculate the size and amount of the material that are needed.
-Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
-Cut, shape and smooth lumber, fiberglass, and other material according to measurements.
-Adhere to and enforce safety requirements.

Requirements:
-Valid driver's license, drivers abstract, and criminal record check.
-Journeymans certificate in carpentry, or 3-4 years of apprenticeship experience and education.
-Experience working in commercial construction and rough carpentry.
-Excellent time management, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Strong ability to read and follow technical documents and drawings.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
