Primary Job Responsibilities:
Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (painting, drywall repair, basic electrical and plumbing, cleanouts, and more)
Maintain and troubleshoot systems including plumbing, HVAC, appliances, electrical, and boilers
Perform carpentry work and touch-up/full painting as needed
Complete routine preventative maintenance and property improvement tasks
Rotate on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies
Ensure common areas and vacant units are clean and ready for showings or move-ins
Accompany vendors and assist with access to units as needed
Keep maintenance shop clean and professional
Follow company safety policies and wear required protective gear
Help distribute resident notices while respecting confidentiality
Qualifications:
1 to 2 years of maintenance experience (apartment or property maintenance preferred)
Strong mechanical aptitude
Comfortable lifting up to 80 lbs, climbing ladders, and working on your feet for extended periodsExperience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Willing to be on-call and work outside normal hours when needed
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Valid Saskatchewan drivers license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance required
Strong communication skills and basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Buildium etc.)
Certifications such as HVAC, CPO, or EPA are an asset
