The Saskatchewan SPCA (SaskSPCA) is a non-profit organization committed to the wellbeing of animals across the province. We provide education, advocacy, and outreach where it can be most effective. Through collaboration, compassion, and respect for our animals, we seek to provide input on new legislation, develop programs and services, and continue our pursuit of a Saskatchewan free from animal cruelty and inhumane treatment.

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director with a passion for animal welfare to join our team and lead our organization to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of team leadership, financial management, and stakeholder communication. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Executive Director, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our organization, including budgeting, community outreach and program development. Main Responsibilities:
1.    Provide overall leadership for the SaskSPCA
2.    Provide effective, timely communication and collaboration with the board of directors to ensure effective governance and achievement of strategic goals.
3.    Motivate and build relationships with staff for retention and optimal performance
4.    Manage budgets and financial resources effectively
5.    Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, government, donors, partners, and community leaders
6.    Oversee the development and implementation of programs and services that meet the needs of the organizations constituents
7.    Represent the organization at public events and in the media
