Description

Part-Time (20 hours a week guaranteed)
Qualifications:
ECE Diploma or equivalent experience
Experience in childcare is required.
Knowledge and understanding of aboriginal culture
Must pass Criminal Record & Vulnerable record check
Valid Class 5 driver's licence - Those without need not apply
Reliable transportation
Excellent communication shills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Responsibilities
Work as part of a team to provide childcare & housing support for clients in a flexible, compassionate, and responsible manner.
Maintain a safe, healthy, compassionate environment protecting the wellbeing of children;
Plan, provide, and take part in play-based activities that stimulate and support childrens intellectual, physical, social, emotional, & language development;
Listening to, encouraging, enabling, stimulating, and ensuring the safekeeping of children;
Provision of refreshments encouraging healthy eating, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and outings to local points of interest;
Providing opportunities to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, & physical activity;
Communicate effectively with parents, other staff members, and management regarding the children in care of the childminder;
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers;
