Position  Full-Time Building Materials Supervisor Saskatoon 51st Street

Store Info
Zaks Building Group is opening their 4th Home Hardware Building Centre Store on 51st Street in Saskatoon.  This retail footprint of the store is 24,700 sf.  The building materials yard will consist of a warehouse and outside yard space.   Store renovations are in the works, and we hope to open to the public in Fall 2025.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the Building Materials Customer Service Team
Provide leadership and mentorship, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient order processing
Oversee quoting, sales orders, and product recommendations for customers, contractors, and builders
Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking and special-order needs
Assist with scheduling, task delegation, and workflow coordination
Ensure product knowledge is shared, and training is provided to team members
Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate with store management to improve department operations and customer experience

Qualifications
3+ years of experience in retail, customer service, or building materials (supervisory experience preferred)
Solid knowledge of building materials and construction products
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and lead a team
Proficiency in using POS systems and computer software
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
