Description

The Catholic Pastoral Centre (CPC) in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saskatoon, SK, is seeking a permanent full-time Executive Assistant to the Curia to join an active and cohesive administrative team.

This position has two reporting pathways: a direct reporting path to the Executive Assistant to the Bishop and Curia Coordinator and an indirect one to the Director of Administration and Finance.

The Executive Assistant to the Curia will assist diocesan leadership in carrying out work activities and ministry related to the offices of the Bishop, Vicar General, the Chancellor, and management of the CPC.

The Executive Assistant to the Curia ensures smooth and efficient office and administration operations, which include:

- Organizing meetings and events, including taking and distributing meeting minutes, providing hospitality, and handling technology
- Preparing and coordinating correspondence and communications
- Managing schedules
- Preparing documents and reports
- Implementing projects
- General office administration

Qualifications include:
- An office/business administration certificate or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of executive assistant experience, including event planning and budgeting experience.
- A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Suite (MS) including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and other general data management systems and technological platforms (MS Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc)
- Due to the nature of employment and role expectations, a confirmed practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church is preferred.
