Description

Yorkton Cap-It, a member of the Key Auto Group, is seeking a full-time Automotive Detailer to join the team. Detailing is an important service that keeps vehicles looking their best and preserves the condition of the vehicle for maximum value. The Automotive Detailer uses many products to clean and protect vehicles. All work is done by hand to ensure maximum quality and guard against damage that may be caused by carelessness.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Clean and detail vehicles in a timely, professional manner
-Meet promised time on cleanups
-Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
-Other duties as needed set out by Detail Team Leader
-Comply with Key Auto Groups safe work procedures and actively participate in the safety program

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
-Valid Class 5 Drivers License
-Satisfactory Criminal Record Clearance
-Experience in the automotive industry is an asset
-Ability to manage time effectively
-Keen attention to detail
-Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
-Ability to monitor work for quality
-Knowledge of WHMIS and ability to safely work with chemicals
-Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
-Must be able to work Saturdays on occasion
-Ability to operate pressure washer, shop vacuum, power polisher and glass repair kit

WORKING CONDITIONS:
-Bending, lifting, and cleaning by hand.
-Working in wet & humid conditions.
-Standing for majority of shift.
-Some heavy lifting may be required. Safe lifting procedures are available.
-Occasional exposure to high noise levels. Hearing protection is provided.
