Description

Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Part Time Clerk/Cashier at our Food Store location in Choiceland, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operatives vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels.
Perform cashing duties, serve guests, pack groceries, stock, and face shelves.
Monitor code dates to always ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf, following First in First out (FIFO).
Ensure a clean and well-maintained department; clean up breakage and spills, clean shelves, clean bins and displays, and keep aisles free of debris.
Possess a working knowledge of the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, accept payments in cash and credit/debit, and provide accurate change when necessary.
Maintain a safe and efficient area while adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards in social responsibility and the selling of age restricted items relating to lottery, liquor, and tobacco.
Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
