Express Employment is URGENTLY recruiting for candidates to fill a Heavy Duty Mechanic role with a top client of ours in the Industrial Material Manufacturing Industry. The ideal candidate would possesses working experience with maintenance & light repairs in a production plant setting or individuals that have experience in heavy duty mechanical repair/maintenance. While certifications or schooling are not necessary, the successful candidate will need to be able to confidently work on industrial production plant machinery which will be outlined below. This will be a temporary position but may turn into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate!

Main Job Duties Include:

Assist Plant Maintenance Lead Technician with performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on moving power equipment Agriculture equipments i.e.. replacing hydraulic hoses, replacing bearings, oiling & greasing friction points on machines.
Assist in diagnosis of plant equipment and moving equipment.
Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Schooling or experience in a maintenance field/job
Millwright or Heavy Duty maintenance experience
Proficiency in electrical / mechanical design, maintenance, and repairs with both production machinery and mobile equipment
Willingness to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs outside of business hours
Ability to work flexible hours
Ability to lift 55 lbs. plus
Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
