Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week some evenings and weekends as required
The role is responsible for the general management and oversight of the Encore Caf food and beverage service at YWCA Reginas Kikaskihtanaw Centre for Women and Families. This role will manage the staff, scheduling, promotions and oversee the budget of the caf. The position requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of food safety and budget management. Additionally, the Manager must coordinate with suppliers, manage food inventory, and strive to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. This role will set realistic and high standards for customer service, quality of product, and speed of service.
Responsibilities:
Operational oversight of daily operations for the Cafe
Hiring, training, and supervision of staff and volunteers
Marketing and promotion - in conjunction with Director of Operations
Establish and maintain a positive partnership with Community/Business/Vendors
Supply order and inventory tracking
Budget management/tracking and spending approval
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Maintain a high quality of food and customer service
Maintain highest standards of SHA Food Safe regulations
