Venue B is a 100% Indigenous-owned coffee shop, catering company and event centre. We are located at 2300 Dewdney Avenue in Regina's vibrant warehouse district!  We are looking someone with:

- Previous barista and cooking experience
- Exceptional customer service experience

The hours in this position vary due to the events and catering bookings and are expected to range from 8-20 hours per week.

Job Duties:

- Operate the coffee shop, work events and help with catering.
- Open and closing shifts are required when trained.
- Multi-task as a barista, cook, cashier and bartender (during events) while ensuring every customer gets personalized service, even during busy times.
- Assist with catering orders, including working some early shifts.
- Uphold health and safety standards in the workplace.

Qualifications:

- Experience as a barista, or similar role
-  Experience preparing food
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and open and close the store independently.
- Experience operating a POS system (till)
-  Completed, recognized level 1 food safety certificate.
-  Completed Serve it Right Certificate
-  Acceptable criminal record check.
