Description

This role will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, building and managing a high-performing team, and ensuring our standards of quality, efficiency, and customer experience are met and exceeded. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the Operations Manager in all aspects of store performance. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for creating a positive shopping environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
*Lead overall store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and staff supervision
*Lead and motivate a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service
*Ensure all legal and regulatory requirements related to the sale of alcohol are strictly followed
*Scheduling of new staff and development of onboarding training plans
*Manage stock levels, place orders, and oversee product receiving and displays
*Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently

Required Skills:
*Strong knowledge of liquor products and regulations in Saskatchewan
*Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
*Proficient with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications

Required Experience:
*High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in retail management or business an asset
*2+ years of retail experience, preferably in a liquor or convenience store setting
*Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
