Description

This position is for an in-store Warranty Coordinator at Ashdown's Furniture & Interiors Inc..
The first responsibility of this position is to provide customers with warranty and service support. The Warranty Coordinator takes care of all warranty and service needs, from ordering parts, to diagnosing to minor repairs. You would also be required to offload freight and manage the Warehouse. This is a physically demanding job and mechanical aptitude is required. The right candidate must also be open to being versatile. This position supports staff in both the Delivery Department and Retail Sales. If a Delivery person is unavailable the Warranty Coordinator is expected to go on deliveries. If a Salesperson is unavailable the Warranty Coordinator helps support the Sales Staff. We are looking for a very adaptable and capable individual.
We are willing to train the individual for them to help in all three departments. Experience and willingness to adapt will determine wage.

Requirements:
-Good understanding of the Furniture & Appliance Industry, familiarity with basic parts, tools and a strong mechanical aptitude.
-Assist all customers with parts/resources/placing orders/minor repairs
-Proficiency with Computers and Software programs
-Assist in all areas such as tidying/stocking/merchandising
-Receive/count inventory
-Ability to lift and deliver heavy Appliances and Furniture  
-Advanced interpersonal and presentation skills to provide exceptional customer service
-Excellent verbal and written communications with the ability to build strong customer relationships
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
-Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
-Build/Maintain Customer & Coworker Relationships
-Participate in training to develop skills/knowledge
-Valid driver's license and Criminal record check Mandatory.
