Exciting Career Opportunity at RFNOW  Quality Control Inspector

Location: Virden, MB  Field-based across Southern Manitoba & Saskatchewan
Employment Type: Full-time

RFNOW Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards on our Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction projects. This field-based role plays a vital part in maintaining quality workmanship and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect FTTH construction for adherence to company standards.

Verify property restoration meets established practices.

Operate test equipment to confirm optical/RF power levels.

Document installations with photos/videos.

Create work orders for non-compliant elements.

Communicate progress concerns with supervisors.

Perform emergency locates as needed.

Follow all industry and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

5+ years in construction, maintenance, or repair of OSP fibreoptic networks.

Strong knowledge of safe aerial/underground network construction.

Skilled in problem-solving and blueprint reading.

Proficient with relevant test equipment.

Strong communication skills.

Valid Class 5 drivers license with satisfactory record.

Work Environment:

Field role with varied weather, extensive walking, and travel across Southern Manitoba/Saskatchewan (some overnights).

MondayFriday with occasional weekends as needed.
