Compensation: $120,000$130,000/year (DOE)
RFNOW Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead one of Saskatchewans largest telecom infrastructure builds. This role oversees field operations, contractor performance, and quality compliance for multi-million-dollar Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH), backbone, and transport projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end execution of large-scale capital construction projects.
Align daily field operations with schedules, materials, budgets, and milestones.
Supervise and mentor inspectors, supervisors, and contractors.
Ensure work meets engineering drawings, CSA standards, safety regulations, and customer deliverables.
Partner with QA/QC to maintain construction quality and accurate documentation.
Enforce OH&S and Canada Labour Code safety standards.
Monitor material usage, productivity, contractor billing, and change orders.
Resolve field-level risks and coordinate with the Senior Project Manager.
Qualifications:
5+ years managing large-scale telecom or utility construction projects.
Expertise in civil construction methods (directional drilling, plowing, fiber pulls, aerial plant).
Knowledge of telecom network components and construction standards.
Skilled in interpreting drawings, redlines, test results, and GIS maps.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
Experience managing contractors and multi-site field teams.
Valid drivers license with willingness to travel.
Assets:
PMP, Gold Seal, CET, or similar credentials.
Experience with federally regulated carriers or grant-funded builds.
Budgeting and subcontractor management expertise.
