About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a SQL Server Database Administrator working with large-scale, highly concurrent, and highly available distributed systems. Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Operations, you will work alongside a team of skilled DBAs, focusing on the health and performance of the SQL Server databases that support our entire application stack throughout their lifecycle. You will be an expert in designing, building, and maintaining SQL Server databasesboth for in-house applications and for vendor-provided solutions. Knowledge of Windows Server (and familiarity with Linux) as an operating system is essential for this position.

Typical daily duties will include:
Configure and monitor interfaces with other systems
Maintain systems, user databases, instances, schemas, table spaces, tables, indexes, buffer pools, and logs
Manage system and database user IDs, group permissions, backups, and recoveries
Provide expertise in: Database performance, High Availability & Scalability.
Play a key role in data migrations between systems, including data refreshes.
