This position is two days a week including any time needed to cover holidays or sick time of co-workers.
1.Type office correspondence as requested. File materials and maintain an up-to-date filing system.
2.Photocopy, scan, and shred a variety of documents.
3.Maintain a professional level of confidentiality regarding patient information.
4.Process referral requests.
5.Process electronic health records.
6.Process various forms of communication such as mail, e-mail, and fax.
7.Handle telephone and counter inquiries.
8.Promote good public relations.
9.Schedule and coordinate client appointments including rescheduling and cancellations.
10.Track their own time on a time-card.
11.Order supplies to maintain office inventory.
12.General day-to-day janitorial duties such as, but not limited to, taking out the garbage and recycling, sweeping and mopping, and maintaining a general cleanliness within reason for a medical clinic.
13.Perform other related duties as requested by both doctors and supervisors.
