Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting clean oil safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires heavy equipment operation, must have First AID and H2S tickets, and basic automotive repair skills would be an asset. This is a home every night position, so a local person would be ideal. This is also a 7 on 7 off rotation, will be a cross shift with another driver.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to transport clean oil to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers regarding necessary information and any potential delays.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road.
Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Qualifications

Valid 1A driver's license is required.
Experience in Oil Hauling is preferred.
Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and basic automotive repair skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
