About the Role:

As a Journeyman Carpenter, youll be responsible for leading and executing a wide range of carpentry tasks on residential and/or commercial projects. Youll work alongside apprentices and laborers, ensuring work is done efficiently, safely, and to high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications

Frame, install, and finish structures including walls, roofs, floors, doors, and windows

Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively

Mentor and guide apprentices as needed

Maintain a clean and safe job site

Communicate effectively with site supervisors, team members, and clients

Qualifications:

Valid Journeyman Carpenter certification or Red Seal (or equivalent experience)

5+ years of carpentry experience

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations

Reliable transportation and basic hand tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
