Job Description: The Communicable Disease Control Coordinator is accountable for direct supervision of communicable disease public health nurses. They are responsible for the coordination of the public health activities to control and prevent communicable diseases, including surveillance and reporting responsibilities, as outlined in The Public Health Act, 1994 and The Disease Control Regulations and Saskatchewan Health directives and policies and other applicable federal legislation.

Experience
- 5 years nursing experience in primary care, public/community health nursing
- 5+ years experience in healthcare organization and community health service
Education
- Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certitication.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Course credits in community health and public health nursing are required
Licenses
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
- Experience in program planning and evaluation an asset
