We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Manager to lead our HR operations and support a positive, productive workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, employee relations, and organizational development.
In this role, you will oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. You will also provide guidance to leadership and staff on HR policies and best practices. Experience. Preference will be given to Aboriginal Ancestry under E-96 of Human Rights
Duties:
Work with all managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
-Maintain staffing by recruiting and assisting in interviews and counselling managers on candidate selection
-Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees
-Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
-Maintain employee records by designing an effective personnel filing system to include hiring information, promotions, transfers, evaluations, and terminations
-Develop and update job descriptions, advertisements, and interview questions as needed
-Maintain accurate Accruals and timely reporting to all employees
-Preparing ROE
-Dealing with all staffing issues
Additional benefit over and above the salary:
