Job Description:
The Biostatistical and Study Strategies Specialist will provide analyses and outcomes integral to the development, implementation and evaluation of Research and Quality Improvement Programs, and will directly inform data-driven decisions in patient care and health system planning. These decisions impact allocation and re-allocation of health system. The Specialist works with multiple data types (e.g., demographics, clinical outcomes etc.), and multiple data sources (e.g., national, provincial, regional). Decisions based on their analyses impact allocation and re-allocation of health system resources within the Saskatchewan Health Authority and the province of Saskatchewan. The Specialist reports to Manager Digital Health Analytics. Research and Quality Improvement stakeholders and the RHAs across the province and SHA clinical and support services staff. The incumbent may liaise with scientists and stakeholders from other provincial units across Canada.

Experience
- 3-5 years experience in conducting complex analysis in health care
- Experience in the principles and techniques of data analysis and interpretation
Education
- PhD in Biostatistics
- Master of Science in Biostatistics
Licenses
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
