Description

Prince Albert Golf & Curling Centre seeks skilled and detail-oriented office/building manager. The ideal candidate will have accounting/bookkeeping experience and efficient office administration abilities.

Primary Duties:
     Establish work priorities and ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed
     Quickly respond to phone or walk-in inquires
     Manage Ice rentals
     Handle mail, email and courier shipments
     Coordinate with GC Restaurants Inc to relay and coordinate curling and building events, banquets and room bookings
     Update Social Media platforms with current activities and events
     General accounting and financial recording, including:
         Manage accounts payable and receivable
         Track and record and issue payroll and taxes
         Remittance of government requirements (PST, GST, Source deductions)
         Assemble data and prepare reports to Board of Directors
         Assist in preparation of operating budget and budgetary controls
         Complete month and year end financial reconciliation and reports
     Curling Coordinator:
         Manage Ice Bookings
         Manage Curling Fees and associated rentals
         Monitor building cleanliness and report accordingly
         Assist leagues with fundraisers
         Invoice, track, record and monitor sponsorships

Qualifications
The successful candidate should posses some or all of the following qualifications:
          Diploma, certificate, degree and/or equivalent experience in accounting, commerce, bookkeeping, or business administration
         Strong knowledge of bookkeeping duties
         Proven experience as an office administrator
         Good communication and interpersonal skills
         Excellent organizational skills
         Proficiency with social media
         Positive attitude and strong work ethic
         Knowledge of Sage would be a benefit
