Gold Key Investments is a multifaceted business with a focus on insurance and investments as well as property management and accounting. We are currently looking for a new entry level Receptionist to welcome and direct our clients and assist our Sales Agents. A good portion of your day will be undertaking minor administrative tasks such as filing and tracking incoming and outgoing monies and deliveries.
This position is part time, permanent. 1pm to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
The Competencies and Duties are:
Customer Service - must be professional and friendly and easy to understand
- Answering calls and directing incoming clients to Agents
- Daily courier and mail service
Documentation & Record Keeping- must be trustworthy, accurate, and detail orientated
- Handling cash and banking
- Computer work - entering and updating client information into our specialized software
- Distributes incoming mail and schedule courier pickups and maintains accurate records of these
- Follow and update the procedure manual
- Create and update client files
- Faxing, scanning, photocopying as needed
Office Maintenance Duties
- Light cleaning including making coffee and washing dishes
- Monitor stock of office supplies and orders when necessary
Qualifications:
- Fluent in speaking and writing English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to learn office procedures and applicable software within a reasonable time
- Accurate data-entering skills
- Good organizational skills
- Must be able to walk or transport self from the office for to the bank or other businesses daily
- Computer skills - knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office is an asset
