Responsible for safely transporting goods, conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance, and maintaining accurate logs and records. Adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations, ensuring timely deliveries, and communicating effectively with dispatch and customers.

Core Responsibilities

Safe Driving:
Operate heavy trucks while following all traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures to ensure the safe transportation of goods.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and report any mechanical or safety issues, ensuring the vehicle is in good condition for operation.

Record Keeping:
Accurately maintain logs of driving hours, vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents, completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
Operational Tasks

Logistics:
Transport fluids to various destinations, such as plants or well sites.

Communication:
Communicate with dispatchers to provide updates on delivery status, discuss any delays

Customer Interaction:
Maintain professional and courteous interactions with customers at the point of delivery.

Safety and Compliance
Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all government regulations regarding truck size, weight, driving hours, and parking regulations.
Emergency Procedures: Follow established procedures in the event of an accident or breakdown.

Equipment Use: Use appropriate safety gear and personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
