Description

Are you a student looking for a rewarding part-time role? Our child care center is seeking a responsible and enthusiastic After-School Student Assistant to help with daily activities. You'll work under the supervision of our Early Childhood Educators to ensure a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Children's Activities: Engage with children in play, assist with homework, and supervise group activities.

Assist with Routines: Help with snack preparation and cleanup, handwashing, and tidying up play areas.

Maintain a Safe Environment: Ensure the safety and well-being of all children by actively supervising them indoors and outdoors.

Collaborate with Staff: Work as part of a team, taking direction from Early Childhood Educators and the Director to support the daily operations of the center.

General Housekeeping: Assist with light cleaning tasks, such as wiping down tables, washing windows, cleaning and organizing toys.

Requirements:

Must be at least 16 years of age.

Currently enrolled in high school or post-secondary education.

Demonstrates a positive attitude and a genuine interest in working with children.

Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
