The Ministry of Highways is hiring an Equipment Operator for the La Ronge Section in the Operation and Maintenance Division. You will join a team maintaining Saskatchewans roads, highways, and airports. The Ministry supports an integrated transportation system that promotes economic growth and values safety as a core principle.

We are seeking a motivated individual with a valid Class 1A license. A current driver abstract will be required if selected for an interview. You must be adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work in a diverse, inclusive environment. Strong situational awareness and decision-making under extreme weather conditions are essential.

You will operate and maintain heavy equipment such as tandem trucks, graders, and loaders for summer and winter maintenance. Duties include using advanced hydraulic systems during snowstorms, performing inspections, maintaining records, and ensuring public safety. You must be physically able to perform demanding tasks and work flexible hours.
