Quality Inn & Suites is hiring an Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
In this role, you will plan, direct and control the operation of housekeeping, laundry and cleaning departments within the hotel and restaurant. You will ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all guestrooms, hallways, restaurant and public areas. You will also work alongside the Maintenance Department to ensure the furniture, fixtures and equipment are kept up to the highest standards in every guestroom and all public areas.
On the Admin side, you will be responsible for monthly inventories (linen and supplies), departmental ordering and invoicing, bi-weekly scheduling and keeping wage costs in line with the hotel's budget.
On the HR side, you will be responsible for the hiring and training of new staff when needed as well as conducting performance reviews and any disciplinary action when necessary for your team.
This is an immediate opening and the candidate must already be in Canada with the legal right to live and work. Some basic computer skills and a working knowledge of the English language is imperative.
