Description

SaskBuilds and Procurement is hiring a Building Operator in Kindersley to support property management services that enable government programs and infrastructure. As a key member of our service-focused team, you will ensure safe, comfortable environments for clients and staff.

We are seeking a motivated individual who can supervise staff, work independently and collaboratively, and prioritize tasks effectively. You will perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems and equipment, operate manual and powered tools, manage lawn care and snow removal, and handle physically demanding tasks such as lifting and climbing. You will also oversee security procedures, maintain supplies, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate is flexible, responsible, and organized, with strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of building repair and maintenance practices. You must understand cleaning and safety standards, operate equipment safely, and work in demanding conditions. A Firemans Certification, two years of experience in building maintenance, and a valid drivers license are required. Experience with heating, cooling, ventilation systems, and DDC controls is an asset.

This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining safe and efficient facilities.
