Description

Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service.
- Becoming a brand ambassador for the Gateway Co-op.
- Performing all aspects of stocking and display functions in an efficient and organized manner.  Ensures display presentations and proper stock levels in the liquor store is maintained.
- Any other duties needed to help drive Gateway Co-op's vision and abide by our co-operative's values of responsibility, respect and excellence.
Qualifications:
- Must be 19 or older in age.
- Previous liquor retail with strong product knowledge and provincial legislation requirements.
- Must have/or willing to obtain Serve It Right certification.
- Ability to work all shifts assigned including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.  Especially during peak season periods.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift up to 22.6 kg (50 lbs) with no assistance.
- Work in changing temperatures (coolers, warehouse).
- Regularly bending, kneeling, being on one's feet for an extended period of time.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- On-call as required.
