WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Prepares, administers, and achieves budgeted department goals related to pricing, sales, margin, expenses, and inventory for efficient operation of the department and to achieve all financial targets.
Assist the Food Division Manager in communicating operational requirements, operational changes, and translate the vision into departmental initiatives.
Provide leadership to the department, including goal setting, performance management, training, and development of team members.
Provides leadership as a brand ambassador for the Co-operative by ensuring the meat department provides the highest in quality products and enhancing the customer's shopping experience and satisfaction.
REQUIREMENTS:
Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
3 years experience within a meat department.
Managerial experience is considered an asset.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
