Position and Responsibilities
Under the mentorship of our experienced construction and production miners, you will:
-Assist with underground construction, production drilling, backfilling, and general clean-up
-Be trained to operate a wide range of underground mobile equipment (Kubota side by side, Bobcat skid steer, 4-yard and 6-yard scoop tram, scissor deck, etc.)
-Be expected to learn the overall mining processes and follow all Work Instructions and procedures
-Provide support to the mining department as required
Requirements of the position:
-Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
-Valid Class 5 drivers license
-Excellent safety and attendance record
-Good reading, writing and communication skills
-Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
-Previous experience working underground
Conditions of Employment:
-Pre-employment substance test
